Emergency response to hazardous waste and emissions in industrial operations

Course Description:

This course is designed for anyone who may detect a release (leak) of a hazardous substance and must respond to the release in order to localize it, minimize its spread and limit the negative impact on the environment.

Goals

Provide a basic understanding and knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910.120 (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) requirements by acting as a first responder to a hazardous waste emergency.
