3.5 billion rubles will be allocated to support shipbuilding

Such funds are included in the state budget for the coming years.

The State Duma adopted the draft federal budget for 2023 and the planning period of 2024 and 2025 in the second reading, the press service of the State Duma of the Russian Federation reports. During the review, the Budget Committee supported a block of amendments by senators and deputies from different factions, providing for the redistribution of 58.9 billion rubles in certain areas.

Under the federal project “Stimulating demand for domestic products of the shipbuilding industry,” 3.5 billion rubles will be allocated annually from 2023 to 2025. 
The following will be allocated for state support for the implementation of investment projects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation: 2.618 billion rubles in 2023, 2.502 billion rubles in 2024, and 1 billion rubles in 2025.

The Committee also supported the Government's amendments on the redistribution and distribution of previously reserved funds. As part of these amendments, in particular, in 2023, subsidies will be allocated to Rosmorport in the amount of 2.5 billion rubles for the dredging of the Volga-Caspian Sea Shipping Canal.
