Course Description:

Personnel using personal fall protection equipment (safety belts, straps, etc.) when working at height in various industries.

Goals

To familiarize students with the dangers associated with height rescue procedures and to provide them with basic knowledge and skills in rescue operations.

Training program:

Content

  • General requirements for the rescue procedure;
  • Rescue plan and risk assessment;
  • Emergency procedures;
  • Providing assistance to the victim/fainting, impaired blood flow in a suspended state/stabilizing the victim's condition;
  • Rescue equipment - characteristics and limitations of use;
  • Checking and preserving equipment;
  • Rescuing an injured co-worker who is conscious;
  • Rescuing an unconscious victim;
  • Rescue of the victim, whether within reach or beyond;
  • Rescue from vertical ladders;
  • Avoiding obstacles during rescue;
  • Emergency escape from high altitude zone.
